Clay – Feeneys BRT
Process – Sheets of clay were rolled out like pasta dough and hand built from the base up. Gentle undulating curves were created to soften the harshness of this dark clay
Glaze
Inner Coat – 1 layer of Mayco Macadamia glaze was painted on the inner surface of the dish.
Outer Coat – 2 layers of Mayco Desert Dusk glaze were hand painted to the outer surface. It was refired with a further coat of edge dripped Stone Studio Margarine glaze.
To retain the quality of your Love Leena piece and ensure longevity, hand-washing is recommended with a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid using any metallic scrubbing products, as it could scratch the glaze and cause metal markings. Please air dry your pieces after cleaning.
Your ceramics are food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise stated **. Just like glassware, sudden changes in temperature should be avoided to prevent fragility from thermal shock. Pieces can also crack or break if treated roughly or dropped.
