Clay – Keane Clay Mid Fire 33
Process – a wedge of clay was wheel thrown and coned to create wavy love handles.
Glaze
Base Coat – Stone Studio Lynnie’s white gloss was poured into the centre
Top Coat – 2 layers of Mayco Blue Splatterware glaze was hand painted to the outer surface. A thick layer of Mayco Winter Wood glaze was dripped from the outer edge.
To retain the quality of your Love Leena piece and ensure longevity, hand-washing is recommended with a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid using any metallic scrubbing products, as it could scratch the glaze and cause metal markings. Please air dry your pieces after cleaning.
Your ceramics are food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise stated **. Just like glassware, sudden changes in temperature should be avoided to prevent fragility from thermal shock. Pieces can also crack or break if treated roughly or dropped.
