Clay – Keane Clay Raku White
Process – This delicious clay was thrown on a wheel, and then manipulated by hand to create a soft spout. An edge-defining handle was added to create a Romanesque spin on a modern body.
Glaze
Base Coat – 1 layer of Mayco Macadamia glaze
Top Coat – 2 layers of Mayco Desert Dusk glaze, and later re-fired after applying another 2 layers of Desert Dusk
To retain the quality of your Love Leena piece and ensure longevity, hand-washing is recommended with a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid using any metallic scrubbing products, as it could scratch the glaze and cause metal markings. Please air dry your pieces after cleaning.
Your ceramics are food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise stated **. Just like glassware, sudden changes in temperature should be avoided to prevent fragility from thermal shock. Pieces can also crack or break if treated roughly or dropped.
