Care Instructions

To retain the quality of your Love Leena piece and ensure longevity, hand-washing is recommended with a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid using any metallic scrubbing products, as it could scratch the glaze and cause metal markings. Please air dry your pieces after cleaning.

Your ceramics are food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise stated **. Just like glassware, sudden changes in temperature should be avoided to prevent fragility from thermal shock. Pieces can also crack or break if treated roughly or dropped.

Please handle me with love and care!

** If I contain 18k Gold Lustre, Black or Grey stoneware clay – please do not put me in the oven or microwave! I will overheat and break.

How to use Me

Neti Pot Recipe

The purpose of the neti pot is to clear away the mucous from the paranasal sinuses. It is the first step to treating any ailments causing nasal + sinus congestion. Your head should feel deliciously clear after this!

1.    Add 250ml glass of warm filtered water with ½ tsp good quality salt (e.g. ground Himalayan rock salt or Murray River Pink Salt).

2.    Block off one nostril with the nozzle of the neti pot

3.    Tilt your chin towards your chest and turn your head to the side.

4.    Place the nozzle of the neti pot within the entrance of the upper nostril.

5.    Gently tip the saline solution into your upper nostril and watch as it first drips, then forms a steady small stream out of the lower nostril.

6.    Alternate this practice twice from each nostril until all 250ml has been used

7.    Perform this twice a day when unwell

Practice Notes

·      If it’s coming out of the back of the throat, dip your chin closer towards your chest.

·      If there is nothing coming out of the lower nostril, and you feel a pressure back log in your sinuses – stop. See your local doctor to check if you have a complete nasal obstruction on that side, and address the underlying cause
